Emotional Resilience: Healing After TBI & PTSD
Hybrid Experiential Workshop — January 23, 3:00–5:00 PM
Recovery from traumatic brain injury (TBI) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is complex, nonlinear, and deeply personal.
This two-hour experiential workshop is designed to honor that complexity while offering accessible, evidence-informed practices to support
participants in cultivating nervous system stability, emotional balance, and a greater sense of connection.
Grounded in current neuroscience and trauma-informed care, this workshop integrates somatic awareness, creative expression, and
vagus-nerve toning techniques to support resilience and restorative functioning. The focus is on practical skills that participants
can begin to integrate into daily life, at a pace that respects each person’s readiness and capacity.
What to Expect
- Nervous system regulation skills informed by contemporary neuroscience
- Somatic awareness practices that center safety, agency, and choice
- Creative expression as a pathway for integration and meaning-making
- Vagus-nerve toning techniques to support resilience and emotional regulation
This workshop is educational and experiential in nature. It is not a replacement for individualized medical or mental health treatment;
rather, it is intended to complement participants’ existing care and support systems.
